Encountering a “Token Invalid” error in WIPERAPP can disrupt your data wiping operations. This issue may arise due to several factors:
Deleted Token from Admin Panel but Still on Flash Drive
If a token has been deleted from the WIPERAPP Admin Panel, but the same token file (key.wiperapp) still exists on the flash drive, WIPERAPP will detect a mismatch. Since the token is no longer present in the WIPERAPP Admin Panel, the client-side interface will notify the user that the token is invalid and needs to be replaced.
Mismatched Token Between Flash Drive and Admin Panel
A mismatched token occurs when the token file on the Flash drive does not correspond to the one in the WIPERAPP Admin Panel. This can happen if:
- A new token was generated, but an older token is still being used.
- The token file was replaced incorrectly or was manually altered.
